In order to heal a joint you need to loosen the tissue surrounding that joint. So for shoulders it’s lats, rotator cuffs, and pecs. The foam roller is the right tool for the job. Unless your lucky enough to have the time and money to get daily massage you need to self massage and that’s where the foam roller comes into play.
