Home of the world-renowned Aspen Institute, Aspen Meadows Resort offers 22,000 square feet of ultra-modern event space, as well as 98 stylishly appointed guest suites. With three restaurants, a health center, five tennis courts, two art galleries, and more.
Our weekend will be filled with mobility training, tissue release, therapeutic yoga, restorative yoga, mountain biking, hiking, excellent food, great company, in a great place. You will learn new tools for taking control of shoulder, back, hip, and knee pain. Open to All, beginner to more advanced yoga practice.
Enjoy 550 square feet of stylish accommodations, with floor-to-ceiling windows and contemporary furnishing, featuring a king bed or two queen-sized beds, a full bathroom, and a separate sitting area with a sleeper sofa.
The weekend itinerary:
Friday, 2:30 pm – 4:15 pm- Mobility & Yoga.
Jason will start with joint mobility exercises to improve function. Then Silvana will lead with some therapeutic yoga, where poses are held for long periods and often modified with props, blocks, straps, sandbags, bolsters and more. This method is designed to systematically cultivate strength, flexibility, stability, and awareness, and can be therapeutic for specific conditions like shoulders, hips, and knees Pain.
6 pm- Break for the evening.
Saturday, 7:30 – 8:15 am – Gentle yoga/ meditation.
Meditation makes us feel good, emotionally and physically. It enhances activity in the area of our brain that’s associated with positive emotions and experiences. Some studies suggest that meditation helps combat depression and anxiety, while other research shows that regular meditation improve pain tolerance.
10:00- 11:45 am – mobility training, tissue release, and therapeutic yoga
Lunch on your own- break for the afternoon
4:30 – 6:00 pm – Restorative yoga class. Restorative yoga is a practice that is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching. During the long holds of restorative yoga, however, your muscles are allowed to relax deeply. It’s a unique feeling because props, rather than your muscles, are used to support your body

Sunday, 10:00 to 11:45 am Class – mobility training, tissue release, and therapeutic yoga

$786 per person based on double occupancy rooms, if shared w/ friend, two queen beds. (king bed upon availability) .
